Here at Southgate Veterinary Hospital, we offer a variety of housing areas based on the size of your pet, so they have plenty of room to play!  With a farm like property, your pet will have the opportunity to view beautiful scenery and be cared for by knowledgeable and caring staff. 

• We are pleased to offer boarding to both our feline and canine friends!
• We provide all bedding, blankets, bowls, and food- all we need is your pet!
• Each pet is fed twice a day (breakfast and dinner) with food that we provide.
  • Dogs- Pedigree dried dog food
  • Cats- Friskies dried cat food
• If you choose to bring your own food, please measure out the appropriate amount for your pets stay, and we will gladly substitute their regular food in place of ours.
• Housing areas are cleaned regularly by kennel staff and pets are regularly attended too.
• Every day, your dog will have play time in a fenced in area of the "farm" and your cat will have access to a play room.
• In addition to the play area, dogs will also be taken out for leashed walks twice a day.
• If your pet is on medication- that's no problem!  Our trained veterinary staff are skilled at administering medications (see general price list below).
• If you would like us to perform any additional treatments (such as a nail trim, bath, update on vaccines, flea treatment, microchip, etc) while your pet is staying with us, please let us know and we will be happy to work them into our schedule.

    • <20 lbs: $16/ day
    • 21-40 lbs: $18/ day
    • 41-74 lbs: $19/ day
    • 75-99 lbs: $24/ day
    • >100 lbs: $26/ day
  • Extra walk: $6 extra/ walk
  • Extra play time: $16 extra/ play time
  • Medication handling fee: $5 extra/ day
