Your pets well being is our highest priority! Though we offer a wide variety of medication in our hospital, we understand that it is not always easy for you to drop everything and come in. To make things easier, we have created an on-line store where we deliver to you. Our on-line store has all the medication we carry in our hospital pharmacy, plus many extras. There are some medication you should be giving your dog once a month!
Heartworm prevention
- We do heartworm tests annually and STRONGLY recommend that your dog stays on a heartworm preventative such as Interceptor to keep them safe.
- Heartworm is transmitted to dogs by mosquitoes, so even if your dog is primarily an inside dog they are still at risk- it only takes one bite!
- Interceptor is a once a month oral tablet that not only protects against heartworm, but also for many types of intestinal worms as well. We sell Interceptor as a 6 month supply.
Flea/Tick prevention
- We sell Advantix for dogs which offers protection from fleas, ticks, biting flies, lice, and mosquitoes.
- Advantix is a topical solution which should be applied to your pet once a month.
- We sell Advantix as a 6 month supply, but are also happy to sell them to you individually to help break up the cost.
- We do not recommend flea/tick collars as they do not offer full protection and can cause skin irritation to your pet.

- We sell Advantage or Advantage Multi for cats. Advantage protects against fleas and Advantage Multi protects against fleas, ear mites, certain intestinal worms, and heartworm.
- They are both a topical solution that should be applied to your pet once a month.
- We sell both Advantage and Advantage Multi as a 6 month supply, but are also happy to sell them to you individually to help break up the cost.
